![]() ![]() As it turned out, the Coordinates per USGS and the supposed project coordinates were VERY, VERY far apart. Next, I went to a USGS site for finding Latitude Longitude coordinates, and picked the area on the map to capture the approximate coordinates. Once I did this, I noticed something didn't seem right with the coordinates. Using the MAPTRACKCS tool within Civil 3D ( thanks to Map 3D functionality within Civil 3D) I added the local coordinate system to the tracker and checked the Lat Lon and X, Y (Easting, Northing) coordinates in the area identified in Civil 3D that was supposed to be the project site. ![]() When we dug a bit deeper into the location where the project was supposed to be (based on Northing and Easting coordinates provided), and it started to get a bit confusing.Īfter questioning the project location based the the supposedly accurate Northing and Easting coordinates, I decided to check if they were indeed correct for myself. It appeared that the file was fine and the user had successfully logged into their Autodesk 360 account, however, they were still not seeing the map image. ![]()
